There is minimal preparation before we train your staff. Here are the simple steps: 
 

  • Complete and return the shop profile so we can tailor our materials exactly to dynamics of your store.

  • Distribute the introduction letter to all the staff who will be trained. This document tells them about our plans and goals and generally puts them at ease about being trained!
  • Determine the schedule for the training session(s). For on-site training we suggest conducting the three 2.5 hour seminars at 9:00, 12:30 and 3:00. For smaller groups we can conduct two more in-depth sessions instead of three. Employees need to attend only one of the sessions but are welcome to participate in all of them.  For long distance training choose a 2.5 hour morning, afternoon or evening time slot.
  • Distribute the sales test and ensure that everyone completes and brings it to the training session.

  • Prepare the quietest possible room or space for the meetings – ideally out of earshot of the other employees. We often train in the owner’s office, a conference room, wedding area or kitchen.
