The standard, antiquated practice in flower shops is to just sell prices. For example, most staff say, "We can do something nice for $, $$ or $$$…" But no one wants to buy a price, they want to buy flowers! Consider this, you’re at dinner at a restaurant and the waiter, having offered to tell you about the specials, simply says, "Today we have a $15, $18 and $22 – which would you like?" Sounds silly, right? Selling prices does not work in restaurants, flowers shops or anywhere – it’s simply poor service.
